Prime Minister Imran Khan has inaugurated a countrywide cleanliness drive titled “Clean and Green Pakistan” in Islamabad.
Speaking on the occasion the Prime Minister said that the government will launch an aggressive campaign to educate people and motivate them to participate in the “clean and green Pakistan” campaign.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said the contribution of people from all walks of life is required for this National Cause.
He added that awards will be given to Tehsils for implementing cleanliness.
The “Clean and Green Pakistan” drive will be initiated from all major cities across the Country.
The Federal and the four provinces had agreed to undertake the new initiative at a meeting of the Council of common interests.
The cleanliness drive is part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Election Manifesto.
