KP Finance Minister Taimur Jhagra and KP IGP Salahuddin Khan Mehsud chaired a meeting of high officials in CPO Peshawar the meeting was attended by Pakistan Army Official too (03.11.18)

Detailed discussion took place on the 100 Days plan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. The participants also discussed the short term, mid term and long term goals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. The areas discussed in the meeting under 100 Days Plan of KP Police are Strengthening of Investigation, Launching of new projects for Investigation, Prevention & Security, Extension of existing services to other parts of KP including Traffic Warden, DRCs, PAL and extension of Policing to KP tribal districts. The participants also discussed Institutional Strengthening of Police Department including the construction and upgradation of 7 specialised schools. Improvement in Police Infrastructure, Legal and Policy Reforms discussed in the meetings.
IGP Salahuddin Mehsud emphasised on provision of funds for improving the Training facilities of KP Police, terming it a backbone of an effective Policing. Minister Finance Taimur Jhagra praised the efforts of KP Police in becoming a role model force of Pakistan, and also assured support to the KP Police to resolve their issues. KP Police was given a green signal to go forward with their goals for the upcoming years to come.
