Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed Press Conference Islamabad after Inauguration of Pakistan Post Mobile Application (29.12.18) #PTI #PakistanPost Federal Minister for Postal Services Murad Saeed inaugurated the Pakistan Post Mobile Application for services featuring complaint handling, track and trace, e- commerce, delivery, parcel collect, complaints, tariff, post office locations, post codes and information about postal services. Talking to media persons after the launch of the mobile application here at ECO Postal Staff College, the minister said he was committed to take complaints seriously for improvement of services and performance of the department. Highlighting accessibility of the Pakistan Post with its staff strength, footprints and over a century old legacy and credibility, he said, "Our postman visits almost every household of the country, including areas beyond anyone's reach." The minister announced a pilot project for microfinance loan disbursement of Khushhali Bank through the Pakistan Post. He also briefed about the future initiatives of Pakistan Post which would be compatible with the contemporary needs of today. It would include an entry into the E commerce business, he added. "The Pakistan Post has the capacity and commitment to deliver for online vendors for their cash on delivery products with proof of delivery and prompt reconciliation of their payments. Many international web portal operators have shown their interest to enter into the Pakistani market with the Pakistan Post as their delivery partner." Apart from the business, it was expecting technology transfer and human resource development from them, he added. The minister said the Pakistan Post was also targeting the parcel export market worth $ 4 billion, which was catered to by local and international private couriers at very high rates. It had made necessary arrangements to target the market with a commitment to deliver internationally in 72 hours and the project would be formally inaugurated by the January 15, 2019, he added. The Pakistan Post, he said, was also entering into the the country's logistic market, which at present was worth $34.2 billion and was growing at a rate of more than 18% per annum. He said the Pakistan Post was expecting up to $2.5 billion Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on public private partnership model for its capacity building in the logistic sector. The revenue share of Pakistan Post in that endeavour was expected to Rs 100 billion per annum, whereas its current loss was Rs 11 billion. The minister said he also had a vision of targeting the domestic money transfer market which was primarily the legacy of Pakistan Post as money order delivery, but ironically was captured by private entrepreneurs. Murad Saeed he wanted to introduce technology and investment in the market. He was working to have a bigger share for the Pakistan Post for the electronic money transfer market. At present, the market stood at Rs 80 billion and the Pakistan Post had its only 1 percent share, he added. The minister said he was committed to improving quality and services while acknowledging the fact that tremendous business opportunities existed in the market. "Once the Pakistan Post establishes its credibly, it shall be converted into a profitable organization contributing significantly to the national economy." پاکستان پوسٹ نے صارفین کی سہولت کے لئے موبائل ایپلی کیشن شروع کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے جس کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے اب پارسل گھر سے بھجوائے جانے کی سہلوت بھی موجود ہوگی۔ اس حوالے سے تقریب آج کو منعقد کی گئی۔ وفاقی وزیر برائے مواصلات اور پوسٹل سروسز مراد سعید اس موقع پر مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ موبائل ایپلی کیشن میں ٹریکنگ ‘ شکایات کی رجسٹریشن‘ پوسٹل سروسز ٹیرف‘ پوسٹ کوڈز ‘ ڈاکخانے کی نشاندہی اور رابطے کی سہولت سمیت دیگر سہولیات شامل ہیں۔ اس موقع پر پاکستان پوسٹ میں ایسی شاندار سروس متعارف کروانے کا فیصلہ بھی کیا گیا جو بڑی بڑی نجی کورئیر کمپنیوں کو بھی پیچھے چھوڑ دے گا۔اس ایپ کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے اب آپ اپنا پارسل گھر سے بھی بھجوا سکتے ہیں۔ پارسل کو بھجوانے کے لیے آپکو ڈاکخانے جانے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے بلکہ آپ گھر بیٹھے اس ایپ سے مخصوص سروس استعمال کریں تو مخصوص نمائندہ خود پارسل کو وصول کرنے کے لیے آپکی دہلیز پر آئے گا اور آپکا پارسل وصول کرے گا۔ دوسری جانب وفاقی وزیر پوسٹل سروسز مراد سعید نے موبائل ایپ ’نیا ڈیجیٹل پاکستان پوسٹ‘کا اجراء کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ جدید مسابقتی دور میں پاکستان پوسٹ اب کسی سے پیچھے نہیں رہیگا، 14 جنوری سے پاکستان پوسٹ پورے ملک میں ایکسپورٹ پارسل کے میدان میں داخل ہو جائے گا، لاجسٹک کے شعبہ کی مارکیٹ میں بھی محکمہ ڈاک اپنا مقام پیدا کریگا جس کا آغاز 23 جنوری سے کر دیا جائیگا ،23 مارچ تک پورا پاکستان پوسٹ اپ گریڈ نظر آئیگا، صارفین کی شکایات کی خود نگرانی کروں گا ان کا اعتماد ہمارے لئے اثاثہ ہو گا، ماضی میں ادارے کو نظر انداز کرنے کے باعث یہ جدید مسابقتی دور کے تقاضوں سے عہدہ برآ نہیں ہوسکا،موبائل اپیلی کیشن سے پاکستان پوسٹ کی تمام معلومات صارف کی جیب میں ہونگی،جلد سی پیک کے ذریعے ہونیوالی تجارت میں لاجسٹک سروس کا بھی آغاز کیا جائیگا جس سے پاکستان پوسٹ کو فائدہ ہو گا۔

PTV News Report on Day Two of Envoys Conference on Economic Diplomacy in Islamabad (28.12.18) #PTI وزیراعظم پاکستان عمران خان نے کہا ہے کہ فراڈ مائنڈ سیٹ نے ملک کوبہت نقصان پہنچایا، ہمیں مائنڈ سیٹ کو تبدیل کرنے کی ضرورت ہے، سفیروں کوچاہیے کہ اوورسیز پاکستانیوں کی فہرست بنا کر ان سے رابطہ رکھیں، جعلی اکاؤنٹس کیس سے پتاچلا کہ کس بڑے پیمانے پر منی لانڈرنگ ہورہی ہے، منی لانڈرنگ روکیں گے، لوٹی دولت واپس لائیں گے۔ انہوں نے آج اسلام آباد میں سفیروں کی کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایک چیز واضح ہوجانی چاہیے کہ پاکستان ایسے آگے نہیں جائے گا۔ہم ایک قوم نہیں بن سکے بلکہ ایک منقسم قوم رہے۔ آگے نکلنا ہے تواپنی سوچ کو تبدیل کرنا ہوگا۔ قوم تب اٹھتی ہے جب وہ یقین کرنا شروع کردیتی ہے۔ پاکستان ٹیم ورک سے آگے نکلے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ قومی غیرت کی بات کرتے ہیں توہمارا مذاق اڑایا جاتاہے۔ امریکا میں ایک وزیر نے کہا کہ ہم لبرل ہیں جبکہ تحریک انصاف مولویوں کے ساتھ ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ کوئی بھی ملک قرضوں پر نہیں چل سکتا۔ بیرونی قرضوں سے اشرافیہ مستفید ہوتی رہی جبکہ غریب قرض اتارتے رہے۔ماضی میں پاکستان کی آمدنی بڑھانے کی بجائے صرف شارٹ کٹ سے کام لیا گیا۔پاکستان آج جس پوزیشن پر ہے یہ ہمارے لیے بڑا موقع ہے کہ ہم پاکستان کو اس سے نکالیں۔ دوسروں پر انحصار سے ہمیں بہت نقصان ہوا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ فراڈ مائنڈ سیٹ نے ہمیں بہت نقصان پہنچایا۔ہمیں اپنے مائنڈ سیٹ کو تبدیل کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ اوورسیزپاکستانی ہمارے لیے سب سے بڑا اثاثہ ہے۔ ہمارے وہ محنت کش جو بیرون ملک کام کررہے ہیں۔ ان پر رحم کیا جائے،ان کی ہرطرح کی مدد کی جائے۔انہی لوگوں کے 19ارب ڈالر سے ملک چل رہا ہے۔ سفیروں کوچاہیے کہ اوورسیز پاکستانیوں کی فہرست بنائیں اور ان سے رابطہ رکھا جائے۔اوورسیز پاکستانیوں کو یقین دلانا ہوگا کہ ان کا پیسا درست جگہ لگے گا۔سفیر بیرون ملک سرمایہ کاری میں حائل رکاوٹوں کو دور کریں۔ وزیراعظم عمران خان نے کہا کہ جعلی اکاؤنٹس کیس سے یہ بات سامنے آئی ہے کہ کس بڑے پیمانے پر منی لانڈرنگ ہورہی تھی؟ سالانہ 10ارب ڈالر کی منی لانڈرنگ ہورہی ہے۔منی لانڈرنگ کے خاتمے کیلئے دیگر ممالک سے بھی بات کریں گے۔پاکستان کی لوٹی ہوئی دولت واپس لانے کیلئے مختلف ممالک سے معاہدے کررہے ہیں۔
