Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad (19.10.18) #PrimeMinisterImranKhan Prime Minister Imran Khan invited Qatari investment in all sectors of Pakistan’s economy, especially in agriculture, livestock and energy. He also expressed the hope for early implementation of Qatar’s decision to import 100,000 workers from Pakistan. The Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani , Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, who called on him here to convey the felicitations and best wishes of Amir of Qatar, on his elections. The Foreign Minister of Qatar conveyed the keen desire of the Amir to work with the new leadership in Pakistan, for further strengthening close and cordial relations between the two countries. Expressing appreciation for the warm sentiments of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Prime Minister reciprocated by underlining the commitment of his government to build mutually beneficial relations with Qatar, for the benefit of the two peoples. Referring to increase in Pakistan’s exports to Qatar, he hoped that bilateral trade would further expand in the coming years. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani thanked the Prime Minister for receiving him and reciprocated the sentiments and assured him of the full support and cooperation of the government of Qatar in attaining the dream of a progressive, prosperous and forward looking Pakistan. The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the State of Qatar, under the leadership of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. وزیراعظم عمران خان سے قطر کے نائب وزیراعظم اور وزیر خارجہ شیخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن الثانی نے جمعہ کو یہاں ملاقات کی جس میں انہوں نے وزیراعظم کو امیر قطر کی جانب سے وزارت عظمیٰ کا منصب سنبھالنے پر مبارکباد دی اور نیک خواہشات کا پیغام پہنچایا۔ انہوں نے امیر قطر کی جانب سے پاکستان اور قطر کے درمیان قریبی اور خوشگوار تعلقات کو مزید مستحکم بنانے کے لئے پاکستان کی نئی قیادت کے ساتھ کام کرنے کی خواہش کا بھی اظہار کیا۔ وزیراعظم عمران خان نے شیخ تمیم بن حماد الثانی کی طرف سے گرمجوشی کے مظاہرے کو سراہتے ہوئے دونوں ملکوں کے عوام کے مفاد میں قطر کے ساتھ تعلقات مزید مستحکم بنانے کے اپنی حکومت کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔ پاکستان سے قطر کے لئے برآمدات میں اضافے کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے انہوں نے اس توقع کا اظہار کیا کہ پاکستان اور قطر کے مابین دوطرفہ تجارت آنے والے دنوں میں مزید بڑھے گی۔ انہوں نے قطری سرمایہ کاروں کو پاکستانی معیشت کے تمام شعبوں بالخصوص زراعت، لائیو سٹاک اور توانائی میں سرمایہ کاری کی دعوت دی۔ وزیراعظم نے پاکستان سے ایک لاکھ کارکن منگوانے کے قطری فیصلے پر جلد عملدرآمد کی توقع کا بھی اظہار کیا۔ شیخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن الثانی نے استقبال پر وزیراعظم کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور ان کے لئے بھی گرمجوشی کا اظہار کیا اور وزیراعظم کو ترقی کی راہ پر گامزن اور خوشحال پاکستان کے خواب کی تکمیل کے لئے قطری حکومت کی طرف سے بھرپور تعاون اور حمایت کا یقین دلایا۔ وزیراعظم نے شیخ تمیم بن حماد الثانی کی قیادت میں قطر کے امن، ترقی اور خوشحالی کی جانب گامزن ہونے کی خواہش کا اظہار کیا۔
